I’m going to tell you about how you can make Tristan Assist work for you when you want it to.
Many Tristan Assist users leave Tristan turned on 24/7 and use our priority settings and filters to make sure that they get the emails that are most important to them when they want them, but otherwise let us handle everything else that comes in, freeing them to be their most productive and to use their time how they want to use it.
For others, there are times when they want Tristan’s help in handling their emails and times when they want everything coming directly to them. However you want Tristan Assist to help you, we know it’s the right way!
Here are 3 ways to control when you want Tristan on and when you want it off:
- On and Off via the App
You can toggle Tristan on or off whenever you want by using our activation toggle either in the Tristan Assist desktop portal, or in our iPhone or Android app.
- Preset Scheduling
You can set a time-based schedule that has us handle your emails on a schedule that you set. You can set a standard schedule for every day of the week, or you can have a different schedule for every day each week. For example, if you want to receive and handle all of your emails during your work day, but want Tristan to lighten the load when your work day is over, you could set a schedule that turns Tristan on every weekday at 5:30pm and all through the weekend, and turns Tristan off each weekday morning at 8:00am. Got a yoga class every Wednesday from 11:00am-12:30pm that you know you won’t be able to get to your email during? Set us up to turn on then and turn off when it’s done. Do you make sure to pick the kids up from school every Friday? Set Tristan to turn on at 3:00pm every Friday instead of your normal 5:30. Tristan Assist is a lifestyle product that is designed to work with your lifestyle. However you want to live, we want to support you in it.
- Geo Location Based
Want Tristan to work when you’re away from your desk and not even have to think about turning it on? By setting one or more office locations in the Tristan Assist smartphone app and turning the geo location feature on on your smartphone, the app can see when you arrive at one of your offices and turns itself off. When you leave the office to go home for the day or to fly out for showings, Tristan Assist will turn itself on automatically and you don’t need to worry about handling email or even telling us to handle your email! Pretty spiffy if I do say so myself!The toggle will always work, so even if you have Tristan set to turn on at a certain time, but you would rather continue to be the one receiving your emails, you can toggle us off and you’ll continue to get everything straight to your inbox. Unless you toggle off again, the system will stay on until the next time your schedule says it should turn off. If you’re using geo-location to turn Tristan Assist off when you’re at the office, but you have a meeting at the office that needs your attention, use the toggle to turn us on at the beginning of the meeting and feel free to turn Tristan off when the meeting’s done.
